Where to celebrate Champagne Day in London

To celebrate Champagne Day on Friday 22 October, Champagne Bureau UK has partnered with three of London’s top Champagne venues, Ginger Lily at Pan Pacific, The Stage at The Londoner, and St Pancras Brasserie and Champagne Bar by Searcys, who have each created a unique Champagne serve in celebration of the day.

Ginger Lily at Pan Pacific

Bottling the buzz and excitement of Singaporean bar culture for London, Pan Pacific’s dedicated Champagne Bar, Ginger Lily offers a premium drinks experience, boasting an extensive Champagne list from over 200 houses and the largest list of by-the-glass bubbles in the City.

For Champagne Day, Bar Manager, Francesco Putignano has created ‘The Ginger Lily’ a serve of Champagne accompanied by a parmesan crisp, and three raspberries finished with icing sugar.

‘The Ginger Lily’ available at Ginger Lily exclusively on Friday 22 October, Champagne Day. £18.

The Stage at The Londoner

The Stage Champagne Bar at Leicester Square’s hotly anticipated new hotel, The Londoner, is launching a new Champagne Afternoon Tea on 23 October and will be offering an exclusive preview of this on Champagne Day, 22 October, with patisseries by Executive Pastry Chef, Dale DeSimone. Challenging traditional perceptions of flavour and presentation, the Champagne afternoon tea in the West End features handcrafted patisserie artworks and delicious sandwiches, served with fine loose-leaf tea from The East India Company. One of the pairings (pictured below) is a fruit caviar cake with chocolate, complete with edible spoon, that pairs perfectly with Champagne.

Exclusive preview of Champagne Afternoon Tea at The Stage available on Friday 22 October, Champagne Day. Prices starting from £9 per patisserie.

St Pancras Brasserie and Champagne Bar by Searcys

To celebrate all things fizz, St Pancras Brasserie and Champagne Bar by Searcys is pulling out all the corks on Friday 22 October, as Europe’s longest Champagne bar pays tribute to the ultimate tipple with exclusive pours, a tasting trio, and a one-off four-course Champagne dinner.

Created exclusively for Champagne Day, its bar manager and educator Bruno Pelletier has created a ‘Champagne through the ages’ serve, showcasing different glassware through the ages, as well as ‘Searcys 175th’, a pairing offering with their signature ‘Gherkin’ Victoria sponge.

‘Searcys 175th‘ available at St Pancras Brasserie and Champagne Bar, £18.47 (in honour of the year Searcys was founded, 1847)
