A Season of Indulgence: Novikov Brings White Truffle Elegance and Christmas Magic to Mayfair
From the rare, earthy allure of Italy’s prized white truffle to a snow-dusted Christmas market complete with Champagne, caviar and reindeer, Novikov Restaurant & Bar is giving Mayfair two very different reasons to celebrate the season.

There are few addresses in London that understand the art of occasion quite like Novikov Restaurant & Bar. Sitting on Berkeley Street in the heart of Mayfair, the celebrated dining destination has long been synonymous with glamorous evenings, exceptional ingredients and a certain theatrical flair. This autumn and winter, it is embracing the changing seasons with two distinctive experiences that capture the spirit of indulgence: The White Truffle Collection, celebrating one of gastronomy’s most coveted ingredients, and the return of its much-loved Mayfair Christmas Market for an eleventh year.
Together, the events offer two sides of the Novikov experience: sophisticated culinary discovery and festive London glamour.
The White Truffle Collection: A Celebration of Italy’s Finest 19 October – 30 November 2026
For those who appreciate the finer details of dining, autumn brings one of the culinary calendar’s most anticipated moments: white truffle season. At Novikov, this extraordinary ingredient takes centre stage with The White Truffle Collection, an elegant exploration of its delicate aroma and unmistakable flavour across four distinct kitchens.

Running until 30 November 2026, the collection brings together the Italian and Asian restaurants, pastry kitchen and Lounge Bar, demonstrating the versatility of an ingredient traditionally associated with the very highest levels of Italian gastronomy.
Sourced from Central Italy, mainly Umbria and neighbouring regions, the white truffles are supplied by Urbani, the renowned Umbrian family business whose truffle expertise dates back to 1852. As these prized specimens cannot be cultivated and must be discovered by trained dogs, their arrival remains an exercise in nature, timing and rarity. Flown into London several times a week, many reach Berkeley Street within 24 to 48 hours of being unearthed, ensuring their precious aroma is captured at its finest.
The collection's Italian offering celebrates simplicity, allowing the ingredient to speak for itself. A Parmesan-style risotto, prepared with Vialone Nano rice, stock, butter and 24-month-aged Parmesan, is finished with freshly shaved white truffle at the table. Two sharing carpaccios provide further temptation: delicately sliced beef with Parmesan and rocket, and raw tuna paired with foie gras, both elevated by the addition of white truffle.

Across the restaurant, the Asian kitchen offers a more unexpected interpretation, bringing together Japanese technique and Italian luxury. White Truffle Gunkan combines rice, nori, tempura flakes and truffle mayonnaise, while the White Truffle O-Toro Nigiri pairs the richness of premium tuna belly with the ingredient's subtle, intoxicating fragrance.
Even dessert receives the seasonal treatment. The pastry kitchen introduces a soft-serve ice cream with a hint of gold, offering a playful yet luxurious finale. Meanwhile, the Lounge Bar presents the White Truffle Negroski, Novikov's interpretation of the classic Negroni. Truffle-infused vodka, Luxardo Bitter Bianco and dry vermouth are brought together with clarified tomato foam, served in a Nick & Nora glass.
With dishes ranging from £35 for the White Truffle O-Toro Nigiri to £60 for the Tuna Foie Gras Carpaccio, and the White Truffle Negroski priced at £16, the collection is available at lunch and dinner, subject to seasonal availability. Guests can also add freshly shaved white truffle to any dish for £15 per gram.
The Mayfair Christmas Market: A Winter Wonderland Returns 26 – 28 November 2026 | 11AM – 9PM
As the festive season approaches, Novikov turns its attention from the delicacies of the Italian autumn to the magic of a Mayfair Christmas. Returning for its eleventh year from 26 to 28 November 2026, the Mayfair Christmas Market will once again transform Mayfair Place, just off Berkeley Street, into a snow-covered winter village.

Now firmly established as a fixture of London's festive social calendar, the three-day event brings together exceptional food, Champagne, independent makers and seasonal entertainment. Entry is free, with no booking required, making it an inviting destination for an afternoon of Christmas shopping, an after-work gathering or a festive family outing.
At the heart of the experience is, naturally, the food. Novikov's Italian and Asian kitchens leave their familiar surroundings at 50A Berkeley Street to serve an impressive selection of dishes in the open air. Expect pasta finished to order in a whole wheel of Parmesan, slow-roasted porchetta, lobster rolls, signature Rock Shrimp Tempura and truffle chips, alongside a Wagyu beef burger.
The market's centrepiece is its raw bar, where a whole tuna is carved by hand in front of guests before being served as sashimi and nigiri. Oysters and caviar add another touch of Mayfair sophistication, while the much-requested cheese raclette returns, with melted cheese scraped directly from the wheel. For something sweet, Novikov's famous Basque cheesecake shares the pastry stand with churros and doughnuts.
Naturally, no festive celebration would be complete without something sparkling. The Louis Roederer Champagne Ice Bar will serve Champagne throughout the event, while Novikov's signature mulled wine offers a warming alternative. Each food stand will also feature its own cocktail, created around a single spirit, with market partners including Grey Goose, Diageo, Anna Dutch, Asahi and Louis Roederer.
Beyond the culinary offerings, the atmosphere promises to be every bit as enchanting. Snow will fall across Mayfair Place throughout all three days, while roaming musicians entertain visitors from 11am until 6pm. Carol singers will perform on Thursday and Friday from 3.30pm to 4.30pm, and on Saturday from 2pm to 3pm. As evening approaches, resident DJs Sally K and Spencer take over, playing from 6pm until 9pm.
For younger visitors, Santa will be in residence daily from 11am, while Saturday 28 November brings a particularly magical attraction: his live reindeer, visiting Mayfair between 1pm and 3pm. Both experiences are complimentary.
The Christmas shopping edit is equally appealing, with a curated selection of independent makers and luxury brands offering alternatives to the predictable high-street gift. Highlights include luxury fur outerwear and accessories from Furever London, sustainable jewellery by Melin, alpaca knitwear from Lacorine, handmade perfumes from Ar-Ray aan Scents, antiques and personalised gifts from Dollond London, premium skincare from Beauty Edit and contemporary fine jewellery from Maya H.
Whether discovering freshly shaved white truffle over a beautifully prepared risotto or enjoying a glass of Louis Roederer beneath falling snow, guests are offered an opportunity to experience the season through delicious food, drinks and a fun atmosphere.
