Sleeping with Art - The biggest car & art exhibition in UK history will take place this September

Sleeping with Art will take place on 23 and 24 September at Lemore Estate in Herefordshire and will welcome visitors who are passionate about cars and art.

The event will display the work of over sixty artists, among them famous names as well as rising stars. The works are curated for guests to experience car inspired art as well as work influenced by the landscapes drivers experience on their travels. Art In... will also bring work from their agency's portfolio.

US based artist Derek Gores will exhibit his work for the first time in the UK. Other names include: Benedict Radcliffe, Micke O'Connor, Paul Howse, Rob Sheppard and The Whale Project. The Guild of Motoring Artists will also display work by their artists.

In collaboration with photographer Bart Kuykens and UNICEF UK, Sleeping with Art will be fundraising for UNICEF, the charity leading the largest vaccine procurement and supply operation ever: The Global COVAX Facility. One large scale fine art print of his iconic Emory Porsche 356 chassis photograph will be sold with proceeds to go to UNICEF UK and members of the public are encouraged to donate via their JustGiving page: www.justgiving.com/fundraising/sleepingwithart

Gordon Glick, Deputy Executive Director, Partnerships and Philanthropy, UNICEF UK said: "We are delighted that Bart Kuykens and Sleeping with Art have chosen to raise funds for UNICEF UK. The Covid-19 pandemic is the biggest and most urgent global crisis that children have faced since World War Two. The world will only begin to recover from the pandemic when people in lower-income countries have access to vaccines, tests and treatments. UNICEF is ensuring that no one is left and is on a mission to deliver 2 billion vaccines around the world this year. Funds raised will protect those most at-risk, help struggling health services get back on their feet and ensure that millions of children can go back to school."

Cars including The Bentley Unifying Spur, created by designer Rich Morris will be displayed. Callum Designs will bring a special vehicle. Aston Martin Heritage Trust, Jaguar Land Rover and Morgan Motors are also showcasing their cars.
