IT London opens in Mayfair

Bringing a blend of contemporary and traditional Mediterranean cuisine to Mayfair, IT London promises a vibrant dining experience.

IT’s first location in Ibiza inspires the Mayfair location’s elegant interior, boasting a sea-foam colour scheme that’s bound to put anyone at ease. Housed in a former art gallery on Dover Street, IT greets its guests warmly with an exquisite art deco composition.

IT’s Italian cuisine is presented masterfully by Chef Gennaro Esposito, who champions two Michelin stars from La Torre del Saracino restaurant on the Neapolitan coast, and Head Chef Adriano Rausa from the IT Milano location. The two chefs work tirelessly to bring Mediterranean and Italian flavours to each elaborate dish – their famous Vesuvius tomato sauce, made from scratch, adorns the chefs’ signature Spaghetti al Pomodoro. The IT gourmet pizza is bound to satisfy your initial hunger, but leaves you craving more of the chefs’ beautiful main-course concoctions. Another dish – the Mezzo pacchero all’astice – brings fresh lobster to the heart of London, perhaps making you forget you haven’t travelled to the Northern Italian coast.

To end the perfect six-course dining experience, pair a signature cocktail – or maybe a decadent wine selected by one of IT’s sommeliers – with a unique rendition of traditional Italian desserts, such as Tiramisu or Neapolitan-style Baba.

The impeccable Gin Gin Mule, a twist on a traditional Moscow Mule, perfectly contrasted the richness of the Tiramisu with its tangy ginger beer and citrus notes. Or, try the Bittered Espresso Martini to continue on your journey through delectable Italian culinary culture.

Most recently, IT London has officially launched its weekly brunch served across different stations: a rich salad bar with a wide variety of eggs, cold cuts, cheese and other typical Italian classics, hot Italian Primi options including the famous “IT Milano” citrus risotto with saffron and wild fennel and to follow, an array of desserts including the pastry chef ’s take on his mother’s famous castagnole. In addition, the upstairs private lounge has been transformed into an oasis for little guests of IT and every week there will a different form of entertainment to keep them happy and amused.
