Heesen is electrifying!

World leading shipyard Heesen has launched a new ultra-silent eco-friendly hybrid superyacht, Electra.

Named after the Greek goddess of storm clouds and lightning, her diesel electric engines and innovative hull design make her cleaner, quieter and up to 20% more fuel efficient than her peers. Currently undergoing seal-trials in the North Sea and due to set-sail in April 2020, she is ready to buy for the right owner.

Electra’s sleek and sharp white exteriors are designed by Omega Architects and her chic, elegant interiors by Venetian designer Cristiano Gatto. Her design embraces the elements, bringing the outside in, and using natural light and flashes of colour to create a pervasive sense of brightness.

Heesen sold 3 out of the 5 superyachts sold in Northern Europe in 2019. Known as innovators, the shipyard is dedicated to reducing its carbon footprint and preserving the oceans.
