Galvin at Windows launches the Galvin Afternoon Tea experience at 10º bar

Galvin at Windows, the award-winning restaurant located on the summit of the iconic London Hilton on Park Lane, is set to send taste buds racing with the launch of their all-new Afternoon Tea Menu, created in collaboration with one of the world’s finest artesian tea companies, Canton Tea, and served at luxury sky bar, 10º.

Representing a modern oasis for busy Londoners, 10º provides the perfect backdrop for the Afternoon Tea experience with its luscious green interiors and planting that reflect the parkland 28 floors below. The menu, which will be served in a bird cage suspended from a tree branch at the side of the table, will transport guests to a luxurious tree-top, paired with breathtaking views of some of the city’s most noteworthy landmarks including Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace.

Leading the Afternoon Tea brigade is head chef Marc Hardiman, with his creation of three ultimate Afternoon Tea Menus with a twist: The Classic at £49 per person, The Gin at £59 per person, and for a wonderfully decadent experience – The Champagne, at £63 per person. There will also be a Vegan Afternoon Tea Menu available at the same price for all three tiers.

Highlights include a selection of pastries and street treats: Valrhona Chocolate Gateaux Opera; rich and smooth Green Apple Mousse paired with Baked Apple and Cinnamon; and Coconut, vanilla panna cotta, forest berry tea cup (v). Devour freshly baked raisin and plain Scones with a vegan option served with cashew nut & vanilla cream, strawberry preserve and apple & cinnamon compot, the perfect healthy yet indulgent treat. Finally, those with a savoury tooth can opt for light sandwiches including Roast ham, tomato & Pommery mustard on white bread or Artichoke, sun blushed tomato, tapenade and basil on beetroot bread (v).

Dedicated Afternoon Tea lovers will be welcome to feast their eyes on the delicacies that await and sample the seasonal delights, accompanied with a straight-up cup of tea, ice-cold refreshing Q&Ts or an uber glamorous glass of champagne.
