Bvlgari Hotel Rome to open in 2022

Welcoming guests in 2022, Bvlgari Hotels is bringing exceptional hospitality and luxury with a remarkable addition to its collection in its hometown, Rome.

The new Bvlgari Hotel Rome will be set in a fabulous building that was built during the 1930s by architect Vittorio Ballio Morpurgo. The building will be completely restored by Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel who has worked with Bvlgari Hotels around the world. Bvlgari Rome will seamlessly blend Roman heritage with the contemporary and timeless style of Bvlgari to create a unique environment in its hometown.

The hotel will have over 100 rooms, majority of which will be suites. Guests can also enjoy contemporary Italian cuisine at the prestigious Il Ristorante curated by Michelin-starred chef Niko Romito along with The Bvlgari Bar. Both will be located on the top floor allowing diners to take in the stunning views of the city. The Bvlgari Hotel Rome will also feature luxurious amenities including an opulent spa, indoor swimming pool and state-of-the-art gym.

The hotel will also offer the unique feature of a Reading Room containing a collection of exquisite volumes dedicated to the history of jewellery. This will be open to guests of the hotel and for the public by appointment only.

The new hotel will be located in the central Piazza Augusto Imperatore, the heart of the Campo Marzio neighbourhood. This is home to the Via del Corso and Via del Babuino, the iconic Spanish Steps and the signature Bvlgari flagship on Via Condotti.

Since Rome is Bvlgari’s hometown, this opening will be a remarkable addition to the Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts Collection, which already counts six properties in Milan, London, Bali, Beijing, Dubai, Shanghai and which will be further extended, between 2021 and 2023, with inaugurations in Paris, Moscow and Tokyo.

In light of the announcement of the new hotel in Rome, Bvlgari has created a special piece of jewellery, reflecting the legendary house’s outstanding creativity and expertise. The house presents “The Bvlgari Ospitalità Italiana Necklace”, a white gold tubogas choker enriched with 10 different precious stones, each of them carefully matched with one of the luxury destinations of the Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts collection. This work of art is a one-of-a-kind piece that is made to order.
