The resort’s Executive Chef, Gaurav Chakraborty has created innovative menus to appeal to an international clientele, while sourcing the finest raw ingredients and ensuring an array of health and wellness elements across all menus, including vegan and gluten-free options at all outlets. Fresh fruit and vegetable juices, in addition to infused and herbal waters, are readily available. Chef Gaurav is passionate about providing value for money for guests, meaning menus utilise the best quality raw materials that are sustainable and easy to procure.

The Pearl

The Pearl is the resort’s specialty Japanese restaurant. The elegant restaurant is situated on a striking pontoon above the water with exceptional ocean views and a menu of exquisite Japanese cuisine. Housing an interactive Sushi Bar and Teppanyaki counter where guests can see the fresh seafood display and witness the skill of the sushi chefs firsthand. The Pearl also offers sushi making classes for guests looking to recreate their favourite dishes back home.

Island Kitchen

The all-day dining experience at Island Kitchen stays true to the Westin brand’s Eat Well pillar through a thoughtful menu combining Chinese, Indian, Maldivian and European fare, along with more traditional options such as sandwiches, pizzas and steaks. Signature dishes to look out for include, Baa Atoll Fish Soup, Reef Fish Tempura, Prawn and Spinach Salad, and Tonkabean Crème Brulée.

Hawker

Hawker offers guests the chance to sample authentic Asian food in a casual and buzzing setting with live cooking where they can interact with the chefs. A market-place concept from South-East Asia, the menu has elements of Thai, Malay, Indonesian, Filipino and Vietnamese street food, from Banana-wrapped Fish Cakes, Pad Thai to Satay sticks, Hawker will transport guests to the streets of South-East Asia with its incredibly fresh and aromatic ingredients.

The Sunset Bar

The Sunset Bar is a relaxed lounge serving tapas and imaginative cocktails created by talented mixologists. It is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy magical views of the sunset while sipping on a refreshing cocktail crafted with local fruits. A live DJ sets the scene for a chilled-out vibe. Tantalizing bar bites such as King Fish Ceviche, Lump Crab Bruschetta, Prawn Gambas and Camembert Cigars help keep hunger at bay.
