The Ritz-Carlton debuts new hotel in the Maldives

The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, a 100-villa property on the beautiful beaches of the North Malé Atoll, marks the brand’s debut in the region which is set to open in spring 2021.

The Ritz-Carlton Maldives welcomes you to embrace island life. A distinguished ‘Aris Meeha’ or butler refined by the elegant Ritz-Carlton service tailors a journey of meaningful moments. Immerse into Maldivian stories as Sangu shells are blown, and Boduberu drums are crafted. Sounds of the drums beat on sun setting, transitioning from a day full of discoveries into an evening of indulgence, giving you the inspiration to do it all over again.

Set above vibrant azure waters or nestled along white-sand beach coves, the resort’s luxury villas blend island living with modern design. Blurring the line between indoors and out, each offers water views, an infinity pool, a spacious sundeck and the attention of a personal butler.

The stunning property is ideally located at Fari Islands, a 50- minute journey by speedboat or a 10-minute seaplane flight from Malé International Airport. The resort will offer guests the white sandy beaches, turquoise lagoons and coral reefs, teeming with marine life, for which the destination is renowned. Guest villas are expected to range from one to three bedrooms, featuring the refined elegance and legendary service that define The Ritz-Carlton brand. The property will also have a choice of outstanding culinary venues serving international and local cuisines, in addition to a full suite of fitness and recreational facilities, including a signature The Ritz-Carlton Spa.

The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands is part of the Fari Islands, an archipelago that features three world-class hospitality brands inclusive of The Ritz-Carlton. Guests are expected to have access to a picturesque Fari Marina – the archipelago’s communal beating heart. Built around a vibrant Beach Club, Fari Marina will be home to charming boutiques and a handpicked selection of dining options. Spaces have been designed by renowned architects from Kerry Hill Architects, to bring about a delicate balance of serene and minimalist design.
