Luxury art-deco escape - COMO Metropolitan Miami Beach

Set in the heart of the Miami Beach Historic District, overlooking one of the USA’s most iconic coastlines, COMO Metropolitan Miami Beach is a 74-key Art Deco design hotel.

A blissful blend of rest and revelry, the boutique hotel houses a rooftop spa with hydrotherapy pools – offering signature COMO Shambhala treatments – and the new Traymore restaurant, a unique collaboration with award-winning chef Michael Schwartz.

The stylish Sling Bar is a vibrant Singaporean-style cocktail haunt that draws a local crowd, with cocktails inspired by the light, refreshing flavours of Asia, infused with the spirit of Miami Beach. By day, guests can enjoy the Met Pool Restaurant and Bar, a casual-chic break from the beach, serving light bites on a sun-soaked terrace.

Perched on Collins Avenue and 24th Street, neighbouring many of Miami’s iconic Art Deco buildings and stone’s throw from city landmarks, guests can enjoy direct beach access with sunbeds and parasols available at no extra cost – a rarity in Miami Beach. A variety of water sports keep active travellers entertained, while culture vultures embark on an Everglade tour of scenic coastal bike ride.

Conceptualised by Italian designer Paola Navone, interiors preserve the hotel’s Art Deco heritage. Rooms and suites are dressed in peppermint greens, greys, cool marble and shiny chrome, flooded with natural light and boast panoramic views over the azure ocean.

Rooms start from £136 on a Bed & Breakfast basis.
