The Knightsbridge Estate, a spectacular 3.5-acre island site located between world-famous department stores Harrods and Harvey Nichols, bounded by Brompton Road to the north and Basil Street to the south, is delighted to announce that British premium men’s and women’s sportwear brand Castore has opened at 59 Brompton Road.
Founded by the Beahon brothers in 2015, both former professional athletes, to bring a new level of performance to sportswear, Castore creates premium sportswear that is world class in its innovation and performance within the market. In addition to a range of high-profile brand sports partnerships, Castore is partnered with several top tier athletes, including tennis great and Castore investor, Sir Andy Murray.
The new Castore store will take its place on a revitalised Knightsbridge Estate. Over the last 12 years the owner of The Knightsbridge Estate, The Olayan Group, working with asset and development manager Chelsfield, has significantly invested in The Estate to modernise and enhance it, remodelling shop fronts, widening its pavements, and upgrading the retail mix to ensure its appeal to global premium and luxury retailers. In 2021 Burberry became the first tenant to occupy one of seven brand new flagship stores, which form part of the complete redevelopment of the northern end of The Estate, along with luxury residential, Grade A office space and dining, due to complete later this year.
