Tucked along Park Walk, HUŎ Chelsea exudes that rare kind of confidence found only in restaurants that truly know who they are. The restaurant’s understated sophistication, soft rattan lighting, pale wood tones, and art that whispers rather than shouts, creates an atmosphere that feels equal parts contemporary London and modern Asia.

Founded in 2021 by restaurateurs Graham Rebak and Adam Wilkie, HUŎ has become a beloved SW10 staple for those who crave Asian cuisine that’s both light and luxurious. Under the creative mastery of Head Chef Yam Gurung, every dish is a celebration of balance: clean flavours, vibrant textures, and a commitment to freshness that feels almost spa-like.

Dinner begins best with the Soft Shell Crab and Handmade Dim Sum, delicate parcels of comfort that set the tone for what’s to come. Then, the Thai Sea Bass Fillet, gently steamed with chilli and lemongrass, arrives like a whisper of the tropics – fragrant, delicate, and impossibly elegant. For something more indulgent, the Triple Cooked Dover Sole crackles with crisp perfection, while the Duck with Watermelon and Cashew Nuts offers a playful, palate-cleansing reprieve. And yes, the Toffee Banana Fritter is as irresistible as it sounds, sweet nostalgia wrapped in golden crispness.

In September 2025, HUŎ extended its quiet magnetism north with a new opening in Belsize Village, a natural evolution for this effortlessly chic brand. The new space, designed in collaboration with Jonathan Clark Architects, mirrors the calm, minimalist DNA of its Chelsea counterpart: a whitewashed wood lattice structure, lime-washed floors, and earth-toned panels set the stage for a dining experience that is both polished and personal.

Guests can sip Lychee Martinis at the whitewood bar, linger in the softly lit booths, or enjoy a moment of golden-hour serenity on the terrace. Whether you’re in Chelsea or Belsize Village, HUŎ offers something rare, a restaurant that feels both cosmopolitan and grounded, with flavour as its quiet form of luxury.
