This is barefoot luxury in a setting that’s just about as exclusive as it gets. Necker Island is located in the Caribbean in the beautiful and unspoiled British Virgin Islands. Guests can expect white sandy beaches, luxurious accommodation, water sports, top class food and the holiday of a lifetime.

In November 2018 Necker Island welcomed back its first guests to a newly restored Great House complete with 2 brand new rooms and an additional Balinese style house; Leha Lo which can sleep 2 adults.

The spacious and al fresco Great House, now with 11 guest rooms, boasts amazing panoramic views of the Caribbean, the Atlantic and neighbouring islands. Each of the bedrooms has a balcony and all come with king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms. There's also a bunk room sleeping up to six children. Whilst on the upper level you’ll find the stunning Master Suite, complete with private outdoor Jacuzzi and sundeck.

Work is still underway to rebuild the island following the devastating effects of the 2017 hurricane season and the island will be reopening further accommodations in spring 2020; including a new and improved Bali Hi complex which will feature an extended pool and outdoor lounge as well as a private plunge pool in each of the individual Bali Houses.

Necker Island can be booked exclusively throughout the year for up to 30 guests. For the first time ever, Necker Island will also be available for small groups taking 8 – 15 rooms on a shared non-exclusive basis from June 2020. Celebration Weeks are also a great way to experience all the Island has to offer by booking an individual room.

LOCATION & ACCESS: Necker Island is situated in the British Virgin Islands. The closest international airport is on Tortola (Beef Island) which is a 35-minute flight from San Juan and up to a 1 hour 20-minute flight from Antigua. By boat Necker is approximately 30 minutes from Tortola and 10 minutes from Virgin Gorda where there is another smaller airport. Necker Island can also be reached by helicopter from Tortola, Virgin Gorda, St. Thomas, San Juan and many other neighbouring islands. It is also possible to anchor a yacht off Necker if guests are going to be sailing in the area. Arrival and departure boat transfers to the island are included in the rates, and boats can make the journey during the day and night.

CHILDREN: Kids will love staying in the Bunk Room at the Great House; it’s full of toys, books and video games. Many of Necker Island’s usual activities can be adapted for children, as well as tailored family activities such as treasure hunts or beach Olympics. Pampering isn’t just reserved for mum and dad on Necker Island; several of the Bali Leha Spa’s most popular treatments have been adapted just for kids! From foot massages for little toes, to a mini massage to relax if all the excitement gets too much.
