In light of Covid-19, the resort has launched a new package specifically designed for guests looking to enjoy an out-of-the-way holiday destination that enables them to safely enjoy the natural and historic wonders on their doorstep.

Zagori Seclusion Package

The ‘Zagori Seclusion Package’ has been carefully curated to offer guests a bit of well-deserved escapism. Taking advantage of Zagori’s mountainous region, which is currently under consideration for the UNESCO World Heritage list, the four day experience includes a private guided tour of the most interesting and unique sights in Zagori including the ancient stone arch bridges crossing the Voidomatis River, the abandoned Monastery of Saint Paraskevi which is situated on the edge of the Vikos Gorge – the deepest gorge in the world, and the breath taking Oxia viewpoint. Travellers will enjoy gentle walks and a picnic style lunch in one of the most remote regions steeped with Greek mythology and history.

The package also includes water-rafting in the crystal clear Voidomatis River – the cleanest river in Europe. An ideal escape and easy ride that is suitable for beginners, guests will start their journey by the Kleidonia Bridge where they will float downstream taking in the beautiful vegetation and dramatic scenery. The experience will conclude with a refreshing dive into the turquoise waters by the Agioi Anargiroi Monastery, which dates back to the 18th century.

As part of this seclusion package, guests are also welcome to unwind at the resort’s tranquil spa. With views out across the woodlands, visitors can experience the calm waters of the pool in a light and airy atmosphere or try a personalised massage followed by a sauna and Jacuzzi to rejuvenate after an action filled day. The hotel’s award-winning Salvia Restaurant, which has been recognised as the best restaurant in Western-Greece, specialises in delicious local dishes including exceptional food and wines from the region enabling guests to recharge with organic ingredients.

Aristi Mountain Resort ensures that the property and all its amenities are regularly sanitised to maintain the national health’s social distancing and safety standards.
