The RA Group is a collection of specialist food and guest services companies, bound together by the shared purpose of delivering exceptional customer experiences. They have launched their newest concept; EXPERIENCE, which brings together some of the biggest and most experienced names in UK hospitality into a comprehensive virtual catering package.
EXPERIENCE is comprised of four products:
EXPERIENCE Events offers interactive food and drink experiences, delivered online
EXPERIENCE Masterclasses brings together step-by-step tutorials from culinary royalty, at home
EXPERIENCE Hampers includes premium food and drink hampers, delivered straight to your door
EXPERIENCE Hospitality offers a series of catering packages for any occasion, delivered to the workplace
We were delighted to try one of the masterclasses and followed a step-by-step tutorial with Jason Atherton as we made a delicious Panettone Bread and Butter pudding.
Of the Masterclasses, Jason Atherton of City Social comments: “I’m so excited to be involved in this fantastic new initiative from RA Group. As industry leaders in providing quality and premium food experiences, I’m delighted to see how the business has pivoted to meet the needs of the current climate. Through this new Masterclass offering, we can provide memorable moments to keen foodies that traverse physical barriers.”
EXPERIENCE Events each follow a different theme for customers to choose from, including a cocktail shake-a-long, a wine tasting experience, and an olive oil and premium ingredients experience, to name but a few. Each event lasts between 45 and 60 minutes and is delivered online via an expert tutorial, with a hamper of products comprising everything needed for the event, delivered to the door in advance for ease and convenience.
EXPERIENCE Masterclasses deliver the finest online tutorials, complete with everything needed to create a three-course meal for two. Guests can choose to cook-along with Jason Atherton, Michel Roux Jr, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and River Cottage, or RA Group’s Culinary Director David Simms. Each masterclass comes with a carefully curated menu delivered to door including; a personalised menu card, ingredients list, step-by-step instructions, and a secure link shared on the day for the guest to access a live-stream or pre-recorded video, dependent on the package selected. Guests can choose from different menu options, with separate menus curated by each chef. Menu highlights across the different packages include;
Red Onion, Fennel & Chilli Tart Tatin with Rocket and Chicory by Michel Roux Jr
Pork Burger, Apple, Wedges, Slaw by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Burrata
Heritage Beetroot, Orange, Toasted Hazelnuts by David Simms

Vegetarian and Vegan options are incorporated into each of the menus, and other dietary requirements are welcomed.
For those looking for broader catering options, EXPERIENCE Hampers offer the finest premium hampers prepared fresh each day before being carefully and safely packaged and delivered. With breakfast, brunch, lunch, and afternoon tea menus available, each hamper includes sweet, savoury, and healthy drink options with something for everyone.
Finally, the new EXPERIENCE offering also caters to the workplace with RAX Hospitality; a premium offering for meetings and team building occasions whatever the setting. Each package can be personalised and enhanced with a selection of bolt on additions from healthy to indulgent, and with baked goods by Paul Rhodes bakery. We’re excited to now launch RAX, working with our network of experts and chefs, to offer world class catering that meets a range of consumer needs in this current climate.”
