Bamford London celebrates 70 years of the Peanuts Gang

To honour one of the world’s most beloved comic strip characters, Bamford London are delighted to announce two brand new Bamford GMT London watches launching in October 2020 featuring everyone’s favourite beagle, Snoopy.

Each of the two Bamford GMT London Snoopy Edition watches will be made in a numbered limited edition 70 pieces to mark the 70 years since Charles Schulz’s classic Peanuts comic strip began publication in October 1950.

The first design features Superhero Snoopy wearing a cape with his arms making up the watch’s hour and minute hands. Snoopy’s faithful sidekick, Woodstock, makes up the second hand to complete a delightfully whimsical statement underpinning the mechanical excellence of the Bamford GMT. A striking splash of yellow against the Bamford black draws the eye beautifully to this limited edition timepiece.

The second design, more traditional but no less impressive, shows Snoopy as fans know him. The iconic character is surrounded by a black and white bezel, meaning this watch works equally well when paired with formal or casual attire. Snoopy’s arms again make up the hour and minute hands with Woodstock counting the seconds precisely.


The Swiss-Made automatic Sellita SW330-1 movement and 24-hour GMT hand function allows wearers to set a home time zone when travelling. The strap is based on a technical rubber compound normally used in nautical applications. This is teamed with Cordura, which is often used in both civil and military clothing and accessories due to its resistance to tearing and abrasion.

Finally, each watch is presented in Snoopy’s famous red doghouse, ensuring that this timepiece is firmly rooted in the Peanuts brand and perfect for any Peanuts fan.
