TORONTO
As a bright and bustling destination, Toronto, Canada's largest city, is a cosmopolitan city defined by its many culturally diverse neighbourhoods, boasting burgeoning art galleries, a thriving nightlife scene and some of the country’s best cuisine.
Its location on the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario, which forms part of the border between Canada and the United States, and its access to Atlantic shipping via the St. Lawrence Seaway and to major U.S. industrial centres via the Great Lakes have enabled Toronto to become an important international trading centre.
Toronto's most famous landmark and tourist attraction, the CN Tower, was once the world's tallest freestanding building at 553.53 meters and still houses the world's highest wine cellar.
