Ollie Dabbous launches sister restaurant HIDEAWAY

HIDEAWAY, the small but spirited sibling of HIDE, will open this winter at 100 Mount Street, following successful pop-ups at Burlington Arcade and Chelsea Barracks. With an eccentric Parisian vintage bric-a-brac feel and seating both indoors and out, HIDEAWAY will serve Mayfair locals and workers both table service and food to go.

Ollie Dabbous HIDEAWAY

“HIDE is somewhere people linger, whereas HIDEAWAY provides a more immediate offering for people that don’t want to compromise on quality just because they have to on time. I’m looking forward to creating a menu that will both surprise and satisfy our guests.” - Ollie Dabbous

Aside from the renowned coffees & croissants, oysters & Champagne, the menu will include a selection of vintage-inspired pastries, the now classic Croque Monsieur, a delicious lobster roll, freshly made sandwiches and salads: all with the simple sophistication Londoners have come to expect from this team. Various retail items such as jams, chutneys and pickles will also be available to purchase.

“Mount Street deserves a great little coffee shop and deli. It’s the perfect location for HIDEAWAY to finally spread its roots. There will be tables outside to watch the world go by: enjoy a cup hot chocolate in the cold winter air or a glass of Champagne in the summer sunshine” - Tatiana Fokina

Wines will be selected by the expert team at Hedonism, with a varied selection available by the glass.

Teas are from Mariage Freres and the coffee menu mirrors that of HIDE.

Known for its inventive cuisine, HIDE received a Michelin star just six months after opening in 2018 and remains one of London’s most critically acclaimed and popular restaurants. Andrew Alu, currently sous chef at Hide will head the kitchen in this new outpost.
