MR PORTER London welcomes summer with an exclusive Château d'Esclans rosé experience

There is a particular kind of light that falls over London in the height of summer, golden, unhurried, made for long lunches that drift into longer evenings. It's exactly this mood that MR PORTER London has bottled, quite literally, in its new Rosé Experience Menu, launched in partnership with Château d'Esclans, the Provençal wine house behind some of the most coveted rosés.

If the name Whispering Angel rings a bell, you already know the pedigree. Château d'Esclans has spent years redefining what rosé can be, not a poolside afterthought, but a wine of genuine complexity and ambition. This summer, that ambition finds its perfect stage at MR PORTER's London dining room, where a curated multi-course menu has been designed to move in lockstep with the estate's most celebrated cuvées.
The evening opens gently, with a spread built for sharing: pillowy focaccia, freshly shucked oysters, a fiery yellowtail sashimi, and a delicate zucchini carpaccio finished with shavings of Belper Knolle cheese. Alongside it pours Les Clans Rosé 2024, a wine celebrated for its poise, its subtle minerality, and a complexity that rewards a slower sip.
From there, the menu moves into its main event. Choose between a classically rendered Dover Sole Meunière, a vegetable-forward roasted aubergine with grated egg, or MR PORTER's signature Lady Mignon, a 200g cut that has become something of a house icon. Each is paired with Garrus Rosé 2021, Château d'Esclans' flagship expression and widely regarded as one of the finest luxury rosés produced anywhere.
Dessert brings the experience full circle: a seasonal Eton Mess laced with basil and Chantilly cream, paired with the estate's namesake Château d'Esclans Rosé 2024, light, bright, and built for exactly this kind of finish.
Both MR PORTER and Château d'Esclans have built their reputations on precision dressed up as ease, the sense that nothing on the table happened by accident, even as the atmosphere stays resolutely relaxed. It's a philosophy MR PORTER's founder, Yossi Eliyahoo, has long championed: not simply building restaurants, but building experiences, ones attuned to the particular character of the city they inhabit.
The Rosé Experience Menu is available now for a limited run at £125 per person, with a minimum of two guests dining.
