Established in 1945, Franco’s is one of London’s oldest Italian restaurants, known for its timeless elegance and traditional hospitality. Marking its 20th consecutive year, Franco’s much-anticipated rosé celebration returns once again—an annual tradition that signals the start of the spring and summer season in St. James’s.

Guests are invited to explore an exceptional collection of over 60 rosé wines from across the globe, best enjoyed al fresco on Franco’s iconic Jermyn Street terrace. Curated by Head Sommelier Paolo Pellegrino, the 2025 list showcases a beautifully diverse range—from delicate Provençal blush to fuller-bodied Italian rosatos—each selected to complement long lunches, early evening aperitifs and every occasion in between.

Franco’s rosé offering is a hallmark of the season; a thoughtfully curated experience that celebrates the vibrancy and versatility of this beloved style of wine, set against the backdrop of one of London’s most elegant outdoor dining settings.

Alongside the rosé menu, Franco’s presents a selection of authentic Italian dishes made with care and precision. Signature plates include: Octopus Carpaccio with Fennel & Orange; Linguine with Lobster; and Pan-fried Seabass with herb gnocchi and ‘barba di frate’, followed by indulgent desserts such as classic Tiramisu and Calvados-poached Pears with Chocolate Mousse.

On Tuesday, 29th April, Franco’s will also be hosting its annual Rosé Party, this year themed on the Pink Panther. Guests will be able to enjoy the iconic selection of rosé wines throughout the evening alongside canapés and lively entertainment in true Franco’s style. The event begins at 6pm and tickets can be purchased directly from the Franco’s website.

With its rich history, refined cuisine, and dedication to hospitality, Franco’s remains a cornerstone of the London dining scene, offering guests an experience that is both timeless and elegant, with an innovative twist. Whether indulging in the carefully curated menu, sipping exceptional rosé on the terrace, or hosting an intimate gathering in the elegant private dining room, Franco’s continues to set the standard for Italian dining in St. James’s.
